Chief Medical Advisor Selected as PSOH President

Massive Bio Co-founder and Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Arturo Loiaza-Bonilla, MD, MSEd, has been selected as the new President of the Pennsylvania Society of Oncology & Hematology (PSOH). The PSOH was founded in 1998 to educate physicians and cancer care professionals in standards of cancer care for hematology and oncology patients. The organization stays up to date on the most recent clinical advances, as well as provides nonpartisan input to local governmental bodies and legislators in an effort to benefit cancer patients.

Dr. Loaiza-Bonilla will serve a two-year term as president of the organization that will focus on improving the resources and education provided by the society’s oncology and hematology professionals. The term officially begun on September 25th during the society’s Annual Scientific Conference.

Massive Bio’s Chief Medical Advisor has been practicing at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) since 2017 and is the current Vice-Chair of Medical Oncology and Medical Director of Clinical Research. Other organizations Dr. Loaiza-Bonilla is also a member of include The American Society of Hematology, the American Association of Cancer Research, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
