What Is Lymphoma?

Lymphoma is a type of cancer that forms in the lymph system, which helps protect the body against infection and disease.

The two major forms are Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is much more common. In 2022, there will be about 80,470 new cases of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in the United States, compared to 8,540 new cases of Hodgkin lymphoma.

Hodgkin lymphoma occurs most frequently in young and older people, while non-Hodgkin lymphoma primarily affects older men and women.

From the moment you were diagnosed with cancer, you may have been feeling hopeless and lonely. But you are not alone.
