  • Build or enhance Massive Bio’s existing NLU/NLP/NLG machine learning models to structure medical records, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) test results and clinical trial protocols

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, maintain, and measure integrations of Massive Bio’s AI based Clinical Trial Matching System (CTMS) with Massive Bio’s provider network members that use variety of EHR platforms (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, OncoEMR, etc.)
  • Support design and implementation of CTMS that works stand-alone and/or integrated to EHR
  • Build HL7 FHIR, SOA, XML / JSON, REST API, ESB and APIM solutions
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute test plans on CTMS to ensure compatibility with EMR and related software

Job Title: Oncologist Relationship Development Specialist

Massive Bio connects cancer patients and their community oncologists to bio-pharmaceutical clinical trials through our world-class AI-driven platform. The SYNERGY-AI registry yields profound improvement in access and match rates, which leads to faster drug development timelines and the creation of novel oncology data ecosystems for improved protocol design and real-world insights. While improving cancer patients’ lives, Massive Bio serves more than a dozen pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations (CROs) by providing patient recruitment, site selection and real-world data services in oncology. Founded in 2015, Massive Bio is headquartered in NYC and is privately funded.

Due to the rapid growth of our company, we are seeking exceptional Relationship Development Specialists to play a key role in the expansion of Massive Bio’s oncologist and research site network. This position will report to the Chief Customer Delivery Manager with a dotted line to the CEO.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify a network of oncologists (mostly community oncologists) who have suitable patients for Massive Bio’s Sponsored Trials; evaluate oncologists’ hospitals for referral or site opening opportunities
  • Develop and manage relationships with oncologists and clinical research departments of hospitals/sites and further introduce Massive Bio and its services
  • Develop Sponsor site-specific referral plans in collaboration with Massive Bio’s Customer Delivery, Case Management, Marketing and Technology teams
  • Expand Massive Bio’s current network of sites for continuous patient pre-screening
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders, large academic medical cancer centers and hospital networks to understand referral opportunities within the organizations
  • Develop a business case which delivers patient referrals to large, academic medical cancer centers
  • Develop marketing materials to introduce Massive Bio to a variety of oncologists and medical centers

Qualifications and experience:

  • Ability to rapidly solve problems in a resourceful and data-driven manner, while working in a fast-paced and very demanding start-up environment
  • Very strong written and oral communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of site and oncologist network development, clinical research knowledge is a plus but not required
  • Ability to manage cross functional teams or multiple stakeholders to achieve objectives and meet deadlines

Due to significant growth and intensity of our operations, Massive Bio is looking for an innovative oncology clinical trial patient recruitment leader using strategic direct-to-patient marketing competencies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead all Massive Bio marketing activities for core revenue generating solutions
  • Design, lead, track and manage Google and Facebook Ad campaigns
  • Evaluate, design, and implement marketing campaigns outside Google/Facebook such as mobile platform
  • Develop and manage all content required for Massive Bio’s marketing activities
  • Establish web content standards including audience, role, tone, and buyer’s journey
  • Build patient engagement stories from Massive Bio’s current patient success stories
  • Compute Massive Bio’s marketing KPIs daily, understand the implications of numbers and work with Management to improve those numbers as required
  • Manage strategic partnership integrations for lead generation programs
  • Plan and execute media relations and public relations efforts

Qualifications and experience:

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in healthcare marketing and more especially direct to patient marketing. Experience in oncology is preferred
  • Proven understanding and usage of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) & Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in: creating social media content, creating patient stories, developing patient, provider and pharmaceutical company related content strategy, paid search campaigns, branding, CRM Strategy, digital web, and email campaign management
  • Exceptional data analytics and presentation skills, advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Significant knowledge of marketing tools and understanding of graphics design tools
  • Ability to rapidly solve problems in a resourceful and data-driven manner while working in a fast-paced, demanding start-up environment
  • Ability to manage cross functional teams or multiple stakeholders
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in relevant discipline. Master’s degree preferred with concertation in healthcare, healthcare marketing, or related filed
